Q: What are the dates of the conference?

A: The Breaking Boundaries conference begins on Friday, October 12th, 2018 at 1:30 PM and ends on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at 12 PM. Scholars should plan to attend the entire conference, including the events in the evening

Q: What time should I plan to arrive and depart?

A: Next Wave recommends that scholars arrive at Boston University no later than 3:30 PM on Friday, October 12th. The conference is expected to end around noon, so Scholars can expect to leave campus anytime after 1:00 PM.

Q: Where will the Breaking Boundaries conference be held?

A: Boston University will serve as our host for the weekend. Most conference activities will take place at the George Sherman Union (GSU) which is located at 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215. Details for all events that not on campus will be provided during registration.

Q: What is the schedule for the conference?

A: The Breaking Boundaries conference schedule is action packed. Details can be found on on “Schedule” page.

Q: Will accommodations (e.g. hotel rooms) be provided?

A: Scholars are responsible for all travel and accommodations. Next Wave has negotiated discount rates on hotels in the area. Stay tuned for details about hotel accommodations. That information will be available soon.
